Evaluation of anesthetic approaches to surgical patients during early COV?D-19 pandemic

Objectives: We aimed to evaluate the anesthetic approaches of patients who underwent surgery in our hospital during early COVID-19 pandemic period. Methods: All admitted general (GS), orthopedics, neurosurgery (NS), urology, cardiovascular (CVS), thoracic surgery, ear nose throat, and plastic reconstructive at operating rooms periods were scanned retrospectively. Demographical data, surgical indications, urgency, methods, complications are evaluated. Anesthetic methods used operations examined as anesthesia, regional sedoanalgesia. In addition, patients’ stay period, intensive care unit admission rate, 30 days mortality, positivity after examined. Results: Two hundred ninety for operation a pandemic. CVS, Orthopedics, GS departments that most number with ratios 27.2%, 26.2%, 25.2% respectively. The emergency seen CVS 79 orthopedics 73 patients. anesthesia management, application rate was 44.1%, 33.1%, sedoanalgesia 22.8%. Totally 61 ICU. According branches, 30-day mortality rates determined 8.3% NS, 6.6% GS, 3.8% 2.7% Four postoperative positive total. Conclusions: may affect length stay, referral unit, period
